Guide to Selling and Managing Retail Services in TravelMaster

Introduction
Selling retail services, as opposed to packaged tours, is an important part of revenue for travel and tourism businesses. The Selling and Managing Retail Services tool helps businesses monitor revenue and the status of retail service sales in real-time.

Characteristics of Retail Services
Retail services are services provided by suppliers, directly connected to the contract pricing system (Nett) within the software.

Instructions for Creating Retail Service Bookings

Step 1: Access TaCRM

  • Navigate to TaCRM (Sales & Marketing Module): To create a booking for retail services, access TaCRM located directly below your avatar on the software interface. Note that you need to have the Business role (appropriate permissions) to access this module.

Step 2: Enter Booking Information

  • Enter Data: Fill in all the required information in the General Information form for the booking (see the illustration below).
  • Finish: Once completed, click the Continue button to move on to the next step.

Step 3: Select Retail Service

  • Choose Service Type: On the next screen, select Retail Service from the list of available services (see the illustration below).
  • Search for Service: Type the service name into the search box, for example, Melia Hanoi.
  • Select Provider: From the list of providers, select Melia Hanoi to connect with the chosen service.

Step 4: Choose the Suitable Service for Booking

  • Select and Filter Services: Use the filtering criteria to find a service that meets your booking requirements (see the illustration below).
  • Select Specific Service: For example, choose Delux Room from the list of services that meet your criteria.
  • Confirm Selection: Click the Select button to add the Delux Room service to the booking.

Step 5: Complete Hotel Service Booking

When you reach the next screen, pay attention to the following information to complete the hotel service booking:

  • Check-in/Check-out Dates: Enter the dates for check-in and check-out as required.
  • FIT Selling Price: You can adjust this price as desired.
  • Quantity: The system defaults to 1, but you can change it if needed.
  • Extra Price | Quantity: Enter the price and quantity if there are additional service requests like an extra bed or breakfast.
  • VAT: Check and enter the VAT as per the service regulations.
  • Other Required Data: Fill in any additional information if requested.

After completing all the details, click the Save button in the upper right corner of the screen to finish creating the booking.

Step 6: Review and Finalize Booking

  • Review Booking: Check the booking information one last time to ensure accuracy, including check-in/check-out dates, selling price, service quantity, and other details.
  • Finalize: Click the Save button to complete the booking creation.

Send Service Voucher:
If you have configured the system to send bookings to the buyer, the service voucher will automatically be sent via email to the buyer immediately after the booking is completed.

Check Created Booking:

  • To verify the booking you just sold, navigate to: Left Menu > Booking > List Booking (see the illustration below).
  • Here, you can view details, edit, or manage the created bookings.

Note

You can create bookings for other services using the same steps outlined above. Just select the appropriate service type, fill in the necessary information, and complete the steps to create a new booking.
